The Young Man is now almost 17 months old. He is no longer a baby but I can’t quite call him a boy or even a toddler yet.
He climbs everything and can even climb by himself into his highchair, and try to strap himself him.
He still isn’t the worlds greatest talker but every day he is learning more and more words. His latest word is ball… but he pronouces it like baoooollll. For some strange reason he seems to have a canadian accent.
He still loves going to his carer and and excitedly calls out her name all the way on the drive to her house. Unfortunately she is going on a 8 week holiday at the end of the month and he is having to go to another carer. I am hoping that the transistion will be fine especially since he has been to her a couple of time before. But who knows…. they are fickle young things these children.
This box is his favourite toy at the moment- he likes to put things in it and then put the lid on it. He has even tried to put the lid on when he is sitting in it!
I know it won’t last for long but at the moment he likes to help with the housework!

He looks so grown up and different in just the little while I have been visiting your blog. (Has it been a year? more? wow).
My grand-daughter has a New York (New Yawk) accent. I have no idea where it came from. I am pretty sure California is about as far away as you can get from there without leaving the continental US.
